Obituary Robert D. “Robbie” Riedling, 48, of Indianapolis passed away Sunday, March 22, 2020. He was born April 12, 1971 in Indianapolis to John J. and Leondra (Morton) Riedling. He worked in commercial construction as a carpenter. Robbie was considered the “Life of the Party”. He enjoyed building things, boating, camping and entertaining people. Robbie liked attending family and social events. Robbie is survived by his daughter: Allison (Travis) Smith of Pendleton; son: Kyle Riedling of Indianapolis; grandchildren: Levi, Haiden and Maci Smith; father: John J. Riedling of Indianapolis; brother: Eric (Jessica) Riedling of Greenfield; brother: Lonnie Morton of Indianapolis; sister Charlee (Brian) Bernard of Granville, TX; several nieces and nephews; former spouse Kristi (Steve) Ross. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother Johnny Riedling. In keeping with the Governor’s orders that are in place regarding the Coronavirus, private family services will be held.
