Ritchie Elkins, 82 of Greensburg, passed away on March 25, 2020 in Connersville. He was born on March 2, 1938 in Jackson County, IN to the late Claude and Ruth (McKain) Elkins. Ritchie was a 1956 graduate of Kokomo High School. He married Rosemary (Tolly) Moffett Elkins on October 5, 2010 and she survives. Ritchie served his country in the United States National Guard. He managed Good Year Tire Store for several years and after retirement drove a semi. Ritchie was an avid golfer and fisherman. In addition to his wife, Rosemary, he is survived by his children, Kelly Sandy of Indianapolis, Jeff (Heather) Elkins of Greencastle, IN, and Brent (Mary) Elkins of, FL and step children, Jeannie (John) Thoman of Rush County, John D. (Linda) Moffett of Rushville, Jim (Patty) Moffett of Rushville, Dennis (Michelle) Moffett of Greensburg, and Richard Moffett of Rushville; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis (Merle) Elkins. Celebration of life will be held at a later date for Ritchie. Memorial contributions may be made out to Alzheimer’s Association. Moster Mortuary has been entrusted to the arrangements.
