Obituary ALEXANDRIA, IN – Richard “Lee” Remington, 59, passed away in his residence on Monday, March 23, 2020 following an extended illness. He was born on September 21, 1960 in Anderson to Richard and Linda (Mitchell) Remington and has lived in Alexandria all of his lifetime. Lee graduated from Alexandria-Monroe High School-Class of 1979.he had worked from Piper Mechanical in Middletown from 2008 to 2018. He also worked for the Alexandria Clock Shop. Lee was a member of the Alexandria Eagles #1771 and a member of the former Alexandria VFW. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a fan of the Indiana Pacers. Lee enjoyed life and was a good friend to many. He will be sadly missed but warmly remembered. Survivors: Mother-Linda Remington-Alexandria Sister-Amber Remington-Alexandria 3 Brothers-Bryan (Chrystal) Remington, John Remington and David (Stacey) Remington all of Alexandria Several nieces and nephews Aunts-Judy Quinn-Alexandria, Phyllis (Ernie) Collis-Elwood A host of friends including his special friends-Royce Busby and Elton Hines Lee was preceded in death by his father, a sister-Carrie Israel, Maternal Grandparents-James and Alois Mitchell, Paternal Grandparents-John and Mary Remington Out of respect for the public safety, a private service for Lee’s very immediate family will take place on Thursday in the Owens Funeral Home. Private interment will follow in Park View Cemetery in Alexandria. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
