Marion E. Lawson, 93, of Nashville passed from this life on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 1:20 p.m. at Keepsake Village of Columbus. Born on July 29, 1926 in West Berlin, New Jersey the daughter of Edwin H. and Anna Marie. In November of 1949 she married John Q. Lawson. Marion had been a church secretary and was a woman of strong Christian beliefs and ties with her church. She was very family oriented and was very sacrificial for her children. Some of her greatest joys were spending time with her family, camping and vacationing. Survivors include her children, Paul Lawson of Nashville, Indiana, John Lawson of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and Matt Lawson of Nashville, Indiana; grandchildren, Andrew and Christopher Lawson; and two great grandchildren, Evelyn and James Lawson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Q. Lawson on June 13, 1999; and a sister, Anne Deeney. In keeping with Mrs. Lawson’s wishes cremation will take place and no services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
