Born January 10, 1965 in Halifax County, she was the daughter of the late Larry White and Margaret Jennings Miller, who survives. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Leroy Miller, Sr.; her maternal grandparents, Paul and Elizabeth Jennings; her paternal grandfather, Larry White, Sr. and her fiancé, David Crider. Dorothy graduated from the Virginia School of the Deaf and Blind in Staunton, Virginia and was a member of the New Second Buffalo Baptist Church. In addition to her mother of Long Island, Virginia, she leaves to cherish her memories one son, Stephon Jennings of Hurt, Virginia; two sisters, Delbra Woodruff of Lynch Station, Virginia and Charlene Miller of Long Island, Virginia; four brothers, Leroy Miller, Jr. (Daphanie) of Rustburg, Virginia, Michael Graves (Tuwana) of Altavista, Virginia, Paul Kelly of Maryland and Timothy White of Washington, DC; two grandchildren, Synphanie and Josiah Jennings; her paternal grandmother, Dorothy White of Richmond, Virginia; her close friend, Jean Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family is at the residence of her mother, Margaret Miller, 1941 Hubbard Road, Long Island, Virginia.
