Niedomys, 88, of Sample Flats Rd., Corry, Pa., died Sunday, March 29, 2020, at her home. She was born December 4, 1931 in East Barre, VT., a daughter of the late Dean and Annie Bresovsky Batchelder. Maydean was raised and educated in East Barre, VT., where she graduated high school. She then attended college at Carolina Day School formerly Willow of the Pines in Ashville, N.C., along with her twin sister, Junedean. They studied to be a legal secretary. From college, they both worked for the FBI in Washington, D.C. Maydean and Junedean both met their husbands there and had a joint wedding, being each others maid of honors. Maydean and her husband moved to Corry, Pa., and she worked at Aero Flow Dynamics for a few years, until she had children and became a stay at home mom and took care of her husband. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters. Maydean enjoyed going on fishing trips and always got the “big ones”. She was involved in the Corry Art Society and was an accomplished artist, painting in acrylic, watercolor and oils. In addition to her parents, Maydean was preceded in death February 2, 1981 by her husband, Joseph J. Niedomys Jr., whom she married June 27, 1953 in Washington D.C.; four sisters, Hazel Desilts, Eva Owens, Erdine Batchelder and her twin Junedean Emmert; and a brother Erwin Batchelder. Maydean is survived by three sons, Paul Niedomys and his wife Patricia of North East, Pa., Vincent Niedomys and Gregory Niedomys, both of Corry, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Laura, Mark, Dodge, Jeremy, Shannon, Amber and Cheyenne; several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A private funeral service will be held by the family. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Corry, Pa. Memorials may be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 203 W.
