Obituary Mary Lois (Cox) Howard, 90, of Fairbanks joined her husband Benjamin “Wade” Howard in Heaven on March 27, 2020. She was born on December 21, 1929, in Sullivan County to Grover Cox and Hester (Arnett) Cox. Mary was a homemaker and had been a member of Farmersburg Church of Christ and attended Prairie Creek Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Floyd Cox, Lloyd Cox, Kenneth Cox, and Grover Lee Cox, sisters Grace Snyder, Helen Miller, Lydia Snider, Vera Phegley, Frances Roy, Leliah Thompson, Betty Palmer, and Martha Mooney which was Mary’s twin sister. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce (Keith) Drake of Fairbanks, three grandchildren Chad (Jen) Petty, Jenna (Mike) Crouch, and Austin (Brittany)Drake, seven great-grandchildren, Dylan Crouch, Kolton Crouch, Aiden Crouch, Noah Smith and Sophia Smith, Oliver Drake and Millie Drake, and many nieces and nephews. Services for Mary will be private at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kevin Dobson officiating. Burial will take place at Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan.
