Mark Anthony “Markie” Smith, Jr., 35, of Summerville, husband of Brandy Lee Lewis, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Trident Medical Center. Due to current circumstances, a private graveside service will be held for family only. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Fathers to Fathers, Inc., 5675 Woodbine Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. Markie was born June 4, 1984 in Franklin County, VA, son of Lisa Ann Switzer Smith and the late Mark Anthony Smith. He was a loving husband and father to his four children and the best brother anyone could ask for. He will be sorely missed and loved by all who knew him. He was a delivery driver with Berlin G. Myers Lumber Company. Survivors include his wife Brandy, two daughters and two sons: Alexia Hazyl Smith, Dylan Jordan Keller, Alana Lee-Ann Smith and Mark Anthony Smith, III all of Summerville; God parents: Wanda and Michael DellaCroce of Summerville and numerous family members and numerous friends that were like family.
