Medway and Skowhegan – Linda Jean McCormick York passed away Monday, February 17, 2020. Linda was born July 31, 1947 in Portland, the daughter of William and Audrey (Dinsmore) McCormick, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother William McCormick Jr. as well as her son Richard M. York Jr. as well as loving father of her three children Richard M. York Sr. Linda is survived by a daughter Audrey George and husband Lenny George of Skowhegan; a son Enoch “Joe” York and wife Melissa; five grandchildren Jonathon, Jason, and Joshua Bell, Brian York, and Troy York; three sisters Janet Tibbetts of Westbrook, Shirley Dodge of Florida, andAudrey Sheppard of Saco; a brother Thomas McCormick Sr.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Linda also leaves behind her loving cat she adored and loved very much, Ruby Jean. Linda enjoyed spending time with her son and daughter as well her grandson. Friends are invited to visit with the family 6-8 PM Friday, February 21 at the Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack Street, Millinocket, where funeral services will take place 2 PM Saturday, February 22 with the Rev.
