Lidwina (Schaeffer) Miller, 98, of Fulda was called home Monday March 16, 2020. Lidwina was born September 22, 1921 in Santa Claus, Indiana to Paul & Eleanora “Nora” (Schulte) Schaeffer. She leaves behind to cherish her memory one daughter, Jacquelyn (Michael) Philipps, one son Raymond Mark Miller. Eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren. Five step-great grandchildren and four step great-great grandchildren. One sister, Dorothy Engelbrecht Foertsch, and sister-in-law, Jo Ann Daming (Robert) Schaeffer, and nieces & nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Alberta Keller and brothers, Norbert & Robert Schaeffer. Lidwina enjoyed travel, reading, quilting and being with her family. She was a lifetime member of St. Boniface Parish in Fulda, Indiana. Private services will be held at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Visitation will be private. Burial will be in Saint Boniface Parish Cemetery in Fulda. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Food Allergy Research and Education. Online condolences may be shared at www.becherfuneralhome.com.
