Landon Cecil Spradlin April 06, 1953 – March 25, 2020 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Gretna……….Landon Cecil Spradlin, age 66 of Gretna died Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord, NC. Born April 6, 1953 in New Orleans, LA, he was a son of Caroline Holler Spradlin of Chatham and the late Landon Burdett Spradlin. Landon was an Air Force Veteran and the former minister of “The Move” Church of Gretna. He was an avid Blues Musician and he was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2016. Landon loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jean Adelle Crabtree Spradlin of the residence; one son, Landon Isaac Spradlin of Los Angeles, CA; four daughters, Judah Strickland and husband, Josiah of Gretna, Pauline Spradlin of Fort Worth, TX, Jesse Spradlin of Fort Worth, TX, and Naomi Spradlin of Fort Worth, TX; one brother, Bryan Spradlin and wife, Joni of St. Marys, GA; and three grandchildren, Annikah Strickland, John Strickland, and Dennis Strickland. Private graveside services will be conducted at Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden by Pastor John Heiss. Colbert-Moran Funeral Home, Gretna is assisting the family.
