Obituary KATHRYN MYRADENE (MARTIN) ELMORE, age 97 of Clanton, passed away on March 29, 2020 at Hatley Healthcare in Clanton. She was born in Chilton County on August 2, 1922; the daughter of the late Dalton K. Martin and the late Bessie Chandler Martin. She was a former inspector with Vanity Fair in Demopolis and a former secretary with Blackburn’s Manufacturing Company in Birmingham. She is survived by: Sister, Nell Wilkins of Clanton; and several special nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Forest Elmore. A private family service will be held with restricted access on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the service will be livestreamed on the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home Facebook page for extended family and the general public. Burial will take place on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 in the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL.
