Obituary Mr. John Robert “Bob” Broadhead, 72 of Rogersville, AL, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital, after a long battle with sarcoidosis and HLH. He was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. An avid craftsman and handy worker, Bob had a quick wit, loved to laugh, and never met a stranger. He enjoyed spending time with his family and those closest to him. He will be sorely missed. He was born on November 22, 1947 in Jefferson County, AL to John M. Broadhead and Lucille Murray Broadhead. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Broadhead of Rogersville, AL; sons, Michael Broadhead (Heather) and Jeffery Broadhead (Christina) both of Charleston, SC; daughter, Tracy (Martin) of Middletown, CT; grandchildren, Amanda, Savanna, Laney, and Mason all of Charleston, SC; sisters, Jeane Lee of Montgomery, AL and Jan Davis of Trussville, AL. Mr. Broadhead was a member of Clements Baptist Church. The family will be holding memorial services in both Charleston, SC and Athens, AL at a later date.
