Joe’s Obituary Joe “Die Hard” Rose, 56, of Onalaska, Texas, passed away on March 3, 2020 in Conroe, Texas surrounded by family and friends. Mr. Rose was born on December 13, 1963 in Tucson, Arizona to the parents of Thomas Lynn Rose and Sandra Kay Rose. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and his father. He graduated from LaFeria High School, Class of 1980. He met Dawn Gager in 2013 and quickly realized she was the love of his life. They married in 2014. His career path carried him on various journeys throughout his life. He spent the early portion of his career as a professional motocross racer and later pursued his love of music working as a Guitar Center Ninja and as a guitarist and singer in several bands. Music was always a big part of his life. He was a member of the San Jacinto High Rollers Motorcycle Club for over ten years, serving as an officer at both the chapter and National level. Most recently he was serving in his second term as the club’s National Referee. He had a strong commitment to the club and the community. He spent many hours helping organize and put on fundraisers for the foster children of Polk County, and the Texas Lions Camp. Joe “Die Hard” Rose was an asset to both the club and his community. He is survived by his wife, Dawn “Liz Buzz” Rose, mother, Sandra Rose, children – Kaylei, Hattie Jo, Symphony, and Joe Thomas, seventeen grandchildren, brothers Josh Simmons, Mike McBroom, and the brothers and sisters of the San Jacinto High Rollers MC. Family and friends will celebrate the life of Joe “Die Hard” Rose in a small private ceremony on March 14, 2020. On April 25, 2020 a Celebration of Life and benefit will be held at the J&C Supper Club in Livingston, Texas.
