Jimmy’s Obituary Carlis James “Jimmy” Hensley, age 61, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, March 30, 2020, at his residence. Jimmy was born December 30, 1958, in Moline, Illinois and was a Baptist. He was a former employee of Smith-Blair, where he was a forklift operator. He loved watching Westerns and was a Dallas Cowboys fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Maxine Hensley. Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Garrett; one son, Kyle Hensley; three sisters, Linda Hensley, Carlene Griffin, all of Texarkana and Nancy Simmons of Rock Island, Illinois; along with a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Private burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. The family will have a memorial service at a later date. Read More
