Obituary Jacob Raymond Roop, age 24, of Lowell, IN, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 7, 2020. He was born on January 7, 1996 in Hazel Crest, IL and is survived by his beloved mother Lisa Montagano, father Raymond Roop Jr., sisters Jessica Roop, Amanda Mills, and brother Austin Roop. He is also survived by his nephews Luca Roop and Rexsten Smith, grandparents Raymond (Debbie) Roop Sr., Linda Narduzzo, Pamela (Jon) Halperin, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Jacob had a passion for fishing, animals, being in the outdoors and music. Jacob had the most kind and caring soul and would give anyone the shirt off his back. He struggled with Crohn’s disease and addiction but never wanted to burden anyone with the pain he carried. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Faith Church in Cedar Lake: 6729 W. 133rd Avenue Cedar Lake, IN 46303 from 11am-1pm with service following at 1pm.
