Holly’s Obituary Holly Smith Holly Elizabeth Monroe Smith, age 37, of Texarkana, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, in a local hospice facility. Holly was born September 20, 1982, in Texarkana, Texas. She loved the Lord and was a member of Vessel Church, and she was a Texarkana Arkansas Police Officer. She was preceded in death by her father, Donnie Monroe. Holly was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to many. She was a faithful and dedicated police officer to our community and fellow officers. She was well-loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her husband of eleven years, Billy Smith of Texarkana, Arkansas, two daughters, Havannah Carrillo of Texarkana, Arkansas and Shelby Smith of DeKalb, Texas, one son, Ian Smith of Texarkana, Arkansas, her mother, Renee Monroe of Texarkana, Texas, and three sisters and brothers-in-law, Kelly and Bubba Hagan of Texarkana, Texas, Kayla and Aaron Lewis of Texarkana, Arkansas, and DeAnna and Tommy O’Malley of Texarkana, Arkansas. Due to the current health situation, a private celebration of her life will be at 2:00 P. M. Sunday at the Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas Chapel with Pastor Jon Youngblood officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
