Obituary Hazel C. Scott, 91, passed away peacefully at her home in Jeffersonville, Indiana on Friday, March 20, 2020. She was born on April 9, 1928 to the late Willis and Millie Mills in New Albany, Indiana. Hazel retired from General Electric Company after 19 years of service in production. She attened church services at Safe Harbor Community Church in Clarksville, Indiana. Hazel was an avid bowler and enjoyed a good game of Euchre. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Elmer R. Scott, Sr., her brothers, Bobby, Donnie and Willis Mills and by her sister, Ethel Eldridge. Survivors include her sons, Robert Scott, Sr. (Joy) of Jeffersonville, David Scott of Greenville, Michael Scott of Pekin, Elmer Scott, Jr. (Angie) of New Washington, her daughter, Gueanita Scott of New Albany, brothers, Raymond Mills (Peggy) of New Albany, Carl Mills (Emma) of Bedford, Kentucky, Doug Mills of Starlight, Indiana, sisters, Judy Mills of New Salisbury, Darlene Stillson (Rob) of Greenville and 14 grandchildren. Hazel also leaves behind 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild to cherish her memory. A private visitation will be held due to the current pandemic situation. A private Entombment will be held at Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
