Obituary Glorine L. (Bender) Smith, age 98, went to be with her heavenly father on March 13, 2020 at 7:05 pm at Millers Merry Manor in Logansport. Born April 30, 1921 in Logansport, IN to the late Anthony J. and Mary (Ollinger) Bender. On October 3, 1938 in Logansport she married Robert W. Smith who preceded in death on August 24, 1988. Glorine was a homemaker and a devoted prayer warrior. She was a member of Riverview Wesleyan Church. Survivors include two sons, Tom (Jan) Smith, Lafayette, IN; Terry (June) Smith, Noblesville, IN; 5 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2-brothers, George Bender and Bernard Bender, one sister, Louise M. Wandrei; and two grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 17, 2020 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Bechdol officiating. Burial will be in Mount hope cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until time of services on Tuesday.
