Gerald J. Lindahl August 27, 1947 – March 23, 2020 Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Gerald Jerry Lindahl, age 72, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020 at Dickinson County Healthcare System in Iron Mountain, MI. He was born on August 27, 1947 in Stambaugh, MI, the son of the late Roger and Sadie (Hill) Lindahl. He attended the Stambaugh Schools, graduating from Stambaugh High School with the Class of 1965. Jerry married the former Cheryl Zorzin on April 13, 1995 in Iron River, MI. The couple celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary in 2019. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator for the Iron County Road Commission for 22 years. Jerry was a member of American Legion Reino Post 21. He loved his daily walks, sitting outside and talking with people, and just being in the outdoors. Jerry would spend all summer outside. He also enjoyed going to the casino and have coffee with the guys every morning. Jerry is survived by his wife, Cheryl; stepsons, Brian Javoroski of Caspian, MI and Todd (Mandy) Lindahl of Iron River, MI; brother, Ron (Lucy) Lindahl of Iron River, MI; grandchildren, Jocelyn Javoroski and Logan Lindahl; niece, Julie Lindahl of Pewaukee, WI; extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Lindahl. Private family services will be held.
