Obituary George Davis Dennis, age 74, of Columbiaville, died Monday, March 9, 2020. He was born June 18, 1945 in Attica, to Howard and Donna (Russell) Dennis. George graduated in 1963 from Lapeer High School. He retired from the Buick Engine Plant in Flint, where he was a line set-up man. Mr. Dennis loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles and spent hours working on them and restoring them. In his later years George collected classic cars and enjoyed attending classic car shows. Mr. Dennis is survived by his daughter: Amber Skeans of Jackson; granddaughters: Holly (Steven) Demosiuk of Grass Lake, Michigan and Lindsay Farrell of Jackson; great-grandchildren: Aubrey, Maci, Carter, Karson and Benjamin; siblings: Pearl Trager of Marine City, Sandy Hauner of Zephyrhills Hills, Florida, Art (Carol) Dennis of Arlington, Texas and Roger Dennis of Zephyrhills, Florida; sister-in-law: Ula Dennis of Imlay City; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Howard and Donna Dennis; and siblings: Marion (Doug) Allison, Rus Dennis, Cleo DeGraw, Al (Mary Jane) Dennis and Jack Dennis. Visitation will be 10-11AM Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer. George’s funeral service will be 11:00AM Saturday, March 14, 2020, at the funeral Home. Pastor Drew Jolly will officiate the service, followed immediately by burial at Attica Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2413 S. Linden Rd. Ste.
