Edna’s Obituary Edna Farmwald, 85, of Bremen, passed away at 6:41 pm, Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Signature Healthcare, Bremen. She was born November 24, 1934 to Albert and Anna (Miller) Helmuth in Arthur, IL. On March 13, 1958, she married Leroy Farmwald. He preceded her in death January 21, 2018. They lived in holy matrimony 59 years 10 months 8 days. Mrs. Farmwald was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church Surviving are her daughters, Naomi (Jerry) Miller, Rib Lake, WI, Dorothy (Leon) Miller, Bremen; sons, Merle (Anna) Farmwald, Nappanee, Lloyd (Karen) Farmwald, Tulsa, OK; 28 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; brothers, Orie (Fannie) Helmuth, Statesville, NC, Levi (Eunice) Helmuth, Gulfport, MS; sisters, Viola (John) Jess, Arthur, IL, Emma (Roy) Corona, Gulfport, MS; sister-in-laws, Fannie Mae Helmuth, Arthur, IL, Polly Farmwald, Topeka; Katherine Farmwald, Warsaw, Martha Farmwald, Wakarusa, Rachel (Harvey) Miller, Florida; and brother-in-law, Owen Farmwald, Monticello, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jacob Helmuth; sisters, Mattie Yoder, Martha Helmuth; brother-in-laws, Ralph Yoder, Melvin Farmwald; and sister-in-laws, Anna Mae Farmwald and Vesta Farmwald.. Family and friends may call after 2:00 pm, Monday, March 9, 2020 and all day Tuesday, March 10th at the Leon Miller residence, 11366 N 1100 W, Bremen . Funeral Services will be at 9:30 am, Wednesday, March 11th also at the Miller residence. Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate and burial will be in Cedar Road Amish Cemetery.
