Dwayne’s Obituary Dwayne Lee Carpenter, 58, of Boyce, Virginia, died Friday, March 13, 2020 in the VA Medical Center, Martinsburg, West Virginia. Mr. Carpenter was born July 19, 1961 in Winchester, Virginia, son of James William Carpenter III and Irene Anne Jenkins Carpenter. A veteran of the U. S. Army he worked as a master mechanic. Surviving with his father of Boyce, VA are his niece, Jennifer Cooper Carpenter and her husband, James M. Cooper, U.S. Army, Ret., of Southport, NC; sister-in-law, Gail Carpenter of Southport, NC; a great-niece, Amber N. Cooper of Cullowhee, NC; and a great-nephew, Adam Bryce of Southport, NC. His mother and brother, James W. Carpenter IV, preceded him in death. Services will be private. Read More
