Dennis Michael Flaherty, 66, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2020. He was born in Louisville to the late Charles and Clemma Flaherty. Mike worked in production at American Standard and Ivy Hill. He enjoyed singing karaoke and playing the guitar. Mike enjoyed going to Churchill Downs to watch the horse races. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wayne, Donald, Edwin, and Joseph Flaherty; and sisters, Brenda Lindsey. Left to cherish Mike’s memory are his sons, Denny and Chris Flaherty (Kimberly); grandchildren, Kristin, Victoria, Neisa, Josh, Chris Jr., Adam Kyle, Ashley, Alexis, and Justin; brother, Steve Flaherty; and sisters, Mary Francis Decker and Rebecca Raymer (Maurice). A private visitation and service was held for his family at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Down Syndrome of Louisville.
