Obituary David Louis Henning April 2, 1975-March 9, 2020 South Bend—David Louis Henning, 44, passed away on Monday March 9, 2020. Surviving are his wife, Laura Jane Swanson; children, Samuel, Jillian, Virginia Rose, and Annika; parents, Louis and Linda of Landisville, PA; sister, Lori Henning; and brother, Mark (Jamie) Henning. An avid runner, David completed the Sunburst Half Marathon in 2019. A former science teacher, he had a second career as a pharmacist where he used his teaching experience to focus on patient care and education. He had a particular interest in preventive care, and would want you to get your flu shot. A memorial service will be held at Hahn Funeral Home in Mishawaka at a future date. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana, 702 Chapin St., South Bend, IN 46601.
