He was the son of the late Robert Morrison Jr. and Doris Elizabeth Moss. He cherished many memories of his four brothers and his family and friends. Darren as he was affectionately called “Hook” attended Southside Church of God Of Prophecy in Etowah, TN. He was a graduate of Cleveland High School and Chattanooga State. Darren was a kind, caring, and always joking and laughing man. He was a advit Tennessee Vols fan and fisherman. He spent many years working as a physical therapist in Atlanta Ga, and then worked many odd jobs until he found the love of being a truck driver. He was a committed long haul truck driver working for Zapps trucking until he retired. He preceded in death by his brothers Don Derrick, Richard Brandon, Dwight Anthony Morrison. Niece Jearea Morrison, Grandmother Velma Bowerman, Aunt Shelly Harrison , uncle Perry Bowerman, step father Dave Moss , step sister Alma “Cookie” Moss and cousin Allen Dunn. He leaves to cherish his children, Darian and Denzel Morrison. One brother Robert Morrison III, step brother Terry Moss four step sisters Nadi, Trudy, Brenda, and Annette Moss of Etowah, TN. Two aunts, Olivia Dyer, and Carol Looney of Cleveland TN. One uncle Johnny Harrison of Cleveland TN., one sister- in- law Karen Morrison of Cleveland TN. Five nephews, Shawn, Antonio, Brandon, Kameron and Anthony Morrison. Three nieces Annette, Kayla, and Jada Morrison all of Cleveland TN. A host of family friends and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home- Cleveland, TN., with Rev. John Hall delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cleveland, TN.
