Catherine M. Lowther (nee Santora) “GiGi” peacefully passed away on March 19, 2020 with her family by her side. Born and raised in So. Philadelphia to the late Charles and Katherine (nee Reilly). She will be remembered as a feisty, loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years John “Frog”. Dearest mother of John (Liz), Marie (John) Bowers and Robert Sr. (Trina). Beloved grandmother of Heather, Claire, Tricia, Annie, Elizabeth, Valerie, Marie, Katielynn, Portia and Robert and also with whom she resided Marie, Jose, Jocelyn and Jose Cortes. Great grandmother of 12. Sister of Anthony (Anna) Santora, John “Spanky” (Angie) Santora, Patricia (Joe) Wyatt and the late Lucille Bryson, Charles “Donio” Santora, Alice Kane and Maryann Lopatzie. She is also survived by her brother-in-law John Kane and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to her gathering Monday eve March 30, 202 beginning 7 PM at the Murphy Ruffenach, Brian W. Donnelly Funeral Home (3rd & Wolf Streets) followed by her Religious Service 8:30 PM. Burial private. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Catherine M.
