Hood, Sr. 81, of Greeensburg, IN passed away March 5, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He is the son of the late Thelma (Brown) and Lowell Hood. He was born in Rushville, IN on August 18, 1938. On August 18, 1963, he married his late wife, Carol A. Nute. He is survived by his son, AJ (Carol) Hood of Milroy, IN; daughter, Brenda (Chris) Sweet of New Palestine, IN; brother, Tom (Ruth) Hood of Greensburg, IN. He has four surviving grandchildren: Jake Hood, Katie Hood, Austin Sweet, and Duncan Sweet. He is also survived by one niece and two nephews. Allen was preceded in death by his wife and his parents. Funeral services have been entrusted to Burns Funeral Home in Milroy, IN.
