Ada Alexander Whitlock, age 85, passed away peacefully at her home in Moreland on Saturday, February 29, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born in Porterdale, GA on October 27, 1934 to the late Lige Whitfield Alexander and Cora Lee Alexander. Along with her parents, Ada is preceded in death by her husbands, James Garner, Sr., Aubrey Lee Whitlock; daughter, Debra Ann Carroll; siblings, Grady Alexander, Gladys Moore and Sidney Alexander. She is survived by her son, James Garner and his wife Alexis; grandchildren, Christie Waddell and her husband Chris, Keith Carroll and his wife Brandy, Elizabeth Garner Davison and her wife Ashely Davison. She is also survived by great grandchildren, T.J., Elijah, Samuel, Shelby, Katie, Kayla, Brantley and Harrison. The family will receive friends Monday, March 2, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, in Newnan.
