Nettie Lou’s Obituary Mrs. Nettie Lou Taylor, 82, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. Taylor was born in Corning, AR., on May 1, 1937. She was the owner of Red Taylor Ford in Corning. She enjoyed working, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Corning. She married her husband of 47 years Mr. J.D. “Red” Taylor on December 31, 1955. He preceded her in death on June 3, 2003. She is survived by her children David Taylor and wife Peggy of Corning, AR., Scott Taylor and Tammy of Paragould, AR., Mark Taylor and wife Debbie of Mountain Home, AR., Bruce Taylor and wife Candy of Corning, AR., Libby and husband Jeff Martin of Paragould, AR.; brothers Charles Patterson and wife Betty Corning, AR., and Joe Patterson and wife Karla of Madison, MS.; sister-in-law Barbara Patterson of Bonneville, MO.; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents Arvil Houston and Viva Nettie (Miller) Patterson; brother George Patterson; sister Deanna Lou Patterson; grandson Eric Taylor and sister-in-law Peggy Patterson. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 7, 2020 at 4:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Josh Raspberry and Steve Patterson officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, Febraury 7, 2020 from 3:00 PM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Children’s Foundation, P.O. Box 2222 Little Rock, AR 72203-9984, Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 41817, Memphis, TN 38174-1817, or First Baptist Church, 701 W 3rd St., Corning, AR 72422. Pallbearers are Brent Taylor, Bentley Taylor, Blake Taylor, Noah Taylor, Shane Taylor and Isaac Martin.
