Joe’s Obituary PRINCETON –Billy Joe Miller, age 90, died Tuesday evening, January 21, 2020, in Wilson Medical Center. Born May 4, 1929, in Nodaway County, MO to the late Edgar Forest and Elizabeth May Whitten Miller, he was preceded in death by a son, Butch Anderson. Joe was a member of the Princeton United Methodist Church for more than 44 years, where he taught Sunday school for more than 20 years. He was a Master Mason for 79 years and a member of St. Patrick’s Lodge # 617 in Princeton since moving to Princeton. Joe was a US Army veteran of WWII, where he was a Golden Gloves boxer. A memorial service will be conducted at 12 noon on Friday, January 24, 2020, in the Princeton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Neil Brantley officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 12:00 just prior to the service, in the church fellowship hall. Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Janice H. Miller; sons, Forest E. Miller of Whitley, TX, Joe Anderson of Denver, Co, and Mike Miller and his wife Charlotte of Granite Shoals, TX; daughters, Lisa Brennan and husband Mike of Palm Coast, FL, Betty Barlow and Sandra Neiman and her husband Craig all of Hesperia, CA, Lori Rose and her husband Barry of Princeton, Patty Humphrey of Tucson, AZ and Jackie Johnson of Greenlee, CO. twenty-eight grandchildren, forty-eight great-grandchildren, and seventeen great-great-grandchildren.
