Blaine Christian Smith, 19, of Fort Payne, passed away January 4, 2020. Mr. Smith was born April 3, 2000, in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Fort Payne and was employed as a welder at Contech. Funeral services will be 12 noon Monday, January 6, 2020, at the First United Methodist Church, Christian Life Center with Rev. Michael Miller, Valarie Moses, and Randall Ham officiating. Burial will be in the Morris Cemetery in Morris, AL. The family will receive friends on Monday beginning at 10:00am until the hour service at the Christian Life Center. In Lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations to the First United Methodist Church Youth. Mr. Smith is survived by his parents, Ricky and Nona Smith; sister, Alex Dodd (Micah); brothers, Joey Lynn Smith (Kelly) and Luke Smith (Allison); Grandparents, Wendford and Elsie Smith and Bill Goodwin; nieces, Ava, Anna Grace, and Abigail Smith; nephew, Kaleb Smith; and Baby Dodd.
