Jerry Ray Henderson, age 76, of Rome passed away Friday November 22, 2019 at his residence. Mrs. Henderson was born August 29, 1943 in Floyd County, a son of the Grady Louise Warmack Henderson, and the late Rhody Henderson. He was retired from City of Rome in the body shop. Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by his father, Rhody Henderson, sister, Rhonda Henderson. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jean Crane Henderson, mother, Grady Louise Warmack Henderson, son, Christopher Lee Henderson, Rome; daughters, Stephanie Leigh Henderson, Rome; Lisa Michelle Hammons, Rome; grandchildren, Jamey Combs, Jessica Combs, Brody Hammons, Beth Scott, Wes Scott, Christopher Henderson, Jr. Hannah Henderson, great grandchildren, Addyson Freeman, Bella Jacks, Anderson Scott, Kennedy Scott. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday November 26, 2019 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Billy Rabern, officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the funeral hour on Tuesday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
