Kellie’s Obituary Mrs. Kellie Elizabeth Salmi, of Alexandria, Louisiana, and formerly of Urania, Louisiana passed from this life on Saturday, November 23, 2019. She was born to the union of Melvin Neal and Billie Marie Sweat Wilson of Urania, Louisiana, and also the youngest of six children. Kellie enjoyed cooking a Southern style cuisine for her family, enjoyed taking long rides down old southern back road and enjoying the scenery. Her favorite football team was the New Orleans Saints, which she enjoyed watching with her husband Robert. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Robert Kelly Salmi of Alexandria Louisiana, one stepdaughter, Becky Rose Salmi, two sisters Marilynn MacDonald and husband James of Huntsville Texas, Rhonda Byron and husband William of Charlotte North Carolina. One brother Gary Wilson of Ruston, Louisiana. Her nieces Angela Byron West, Robin Byron Cook, Desire MacDonald, Christie Wilson Ouchley, and Tarrah Ruddell Humphries. One nephew James MacDonald IV. She is preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Billie Wilson, two sisters Karla Wilson Ruddell, and Janice Marie Wilson. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019 in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home of Jena, Louisiana with Rev. Kendall Price Chaplain officiating.
