Barbara Lucille Goheen September 21, 1940 – October 13, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Barbara Lucille Goheen, 79, of Newberry, died Sunday October 13, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and the care of North Woods Hospice. Born September 21, 1940 in Meredosia, IL, daughter of the late Ray and Juanita (Bennett) Nunn, Barbara had been a resident of Newberry since 1966. In addition to being a homemaker raising her family, she enjoyed crafts, quilting, cribbage, gardening, reading, puzzle books and bingo. Barbara was a member of the American Legion Post #74 Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Wesley Goheen and brother Wayne Nunn. Survivors include her children Mark (Tina) Goheen of Colorado, Theresa (Pete) LaBelle of Holland, David Goheen of Wisconsin, Nita (Tim) Newhouse of Newberry and Brian Goheen of Kuwait; 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; sibling Dennis (Donna) Nunn of Fowlerville. Per request, cremation services were accorded with no public services scheduled. Interment will take place in May of 2020 in Fowlerville, Michigan.
