Barbara’s Obituary Barbara M. Lassond, age 85, was reunited with her beloved husband Bernie in Heaven on November 7, 2019. She was born July 8, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Walter Stanley and Lina Freda (Roth) Fraunfelder. Barbara taught third grade at Memorial Elementary in Brunswick for 25 years. She, along with Bernie, owned and operated River Run Campground in Loudonville. She was an avid reader and loved books. Barbara had a competitive spirit and loved to golf, play card games, and follow the Indians. Barbara is survived by her loving children Doug (Doris) Lassond, Tamara (Mike) Stabile, and Terri (David) Wright; dear grandchildren Kellie (Steve) Rhein, Kristin (John) Fenske, Derek (Kate) Stabile, Sarah Stabile, Abbey (Vlad) Chuvilin, and Zach Wright; brother Donald Fraunfelder; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Bernard A. Lassond, in 1998; son-in-law Mike Stabile; and her brothers Bud and Bob Fraunfelder. The family will receive friends 4-7:00 pm on Monday, November 12, 2019 at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina 44256 and one hour prior to the service at the church from 12-1:00pm on Tuesday. A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 12 at Brunswick United Methodist Church, 1395 Pearl Rd, Brunswick 44212, with Pastor Thomas Shaw officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick. The family would like to thank Compassionate Care Hospice and Plum Creek Assisted Living for the incredible care shown to Barbara and her entire family during her time there.
