Thomas Harris, 64, of Rose Hill, VA passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at his residence. A native of Lee County, he was born March 18, 1955 to the late Harold and Pearl Pauley Harris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jackie Thomas Ables. Thomas was a farmer who was a lifelong dirt track racing fan. He loved the outdoors and riding ATV’s. Most of all, he loved his family. Tom is survived by two daughters, Beannie Bledsoe and Tiffany Castle, both of Rose Hill; step-son, Tommy Ables; grandchildren, Chelsey Hines, Christian Bledsoe, Summer Bledsoe, Hunter Castle, Colton Martin, Kelly Carnes and Courtney Leeper; great-grandchildren, Clayton, Connor, Collin and Camron Hines; and his two best friends, Gary Neal and Bruce Hoskins. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, at Robinette Funeral Home in Rose Hill. The memorial service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev.
