Keith’s Obituary Keith Donald Czapla, Sr. 58, of Dupo, IL, formerly of Cahokia, IL born February 27, 1961 in Centreville, IL passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 in East Carondelet, IL Keith was a member of DeMolay International, and coached basketball for many years. He was also a avid fisherman and Rams football fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Virginia Czapla, nee Bertsch; a sister, Virginia “Ginger” Gossett; and a brother-in-law, Curt Gossett. Surviving are his children, Brian (Jennifer) Hahs, Amanda (Mike) Wallach, Heather (Justin) Locke, Keith (Jennifer) Czapla Jr., Tiffany (Steve) Prater, Dawn (Alonzo) King, Wendy Czapla, and Chelsea (Bryce) Hunt; five brothers, Ted, Richard (Diana), Robert (Kathy), Bruce (Diane),and Chris; a sister, Janis (Thomas) Gray; 30 grandchildren; and his beloved former wife, Tina Czapla, nee Carenza. He was also a dear uncle, cousin and friend to many. Memorials may be made to the family. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Braun Family Funeral Home Columbia, Illinois. A private cremation will follow. Read More
