Jimmy D. Baskins Sr., 83, of Vinita, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019. He was born October 8, 1935 in Toad Suck, Arkansas to James W Baskins and Ardell (Chisum) Baskins. He was preceded in death by his, dad, James Baskins; mother, Ardell McRoy; wife, Wanda Pearl Baskins; twin sisters, Bernis and Bernice Chisum; son, Michael Darren Baskins; and daughter, Rebecca Faye Baskins. Jimmy is survived by daughter, Deborah Ann Tadych of Vinita OK; son, Jimmy J Baskins and wife Barbara Baskins of Braggs, OK; granddaughters, Brandi Tadych and Kristin Kelley of Vinita, OK, Terra K Baskins of Tulsa, OK, Jennifer Stacy of Morris, OK, Sabrina Qualls of Keys, OK, and Bridgette Peters of Knob Noster, MO; and 15 great- grandchildren; along with other family members. A graveside service celebrating Jimmy’s life will be 3PM, Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at South Bethel Cemetery in Braggs, OK with Rev. Donnie Hayes officiating. Interment following service.
