Christine Kirkwood Sargeant April 7, 1963 – October 4, 2019 Chris passed away unexpectedly on October 4, 2019. She was born to Richard Kirkwood and Patricia (Jensen) Kirkwood on April 7, 1963 in Provo, Utah. She was then raised in American Fork where she was the second of three children. She then went on to marry Lee Chestnut with whom she had two beautiful children Kristy and Cody. She spent thirteen years with Lee before their unfortunate divorce. Several years later she married Larry Sargeant and was a wonderful step mom to his two children Brandon and Jessica. After their eventual separation, Chris went on to find the person she had been looking for, Anthony Hall. She and Anthony stuck together through good times and bad, and were together for fifteen years until the time of her death. Chris was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her happiness in life was her grandchildren. She loved the time she spent with them, and they loved their “Grandma Chris”, and will forever think of her when they play with their Hot Wheels. Chris is survived by her parents Richard and Pat (Jensen) Kirkwood. Her children Kristy (Kyle) Steele, Cody (Jessica) Chestnut; the grandchildren who loved and adored her; Lennon, Copelin and Weslie Steele, and Abbilynn Chestnut, her sister Cheryl (Ross) Ipson , brother Jeff (Robin) Kirkwood and her life partner Anthony Hall. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her. She is preceded in death by her nephew Ashton Kirkwood. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the American Fork City Cemetery, 26 W 600 N American Fork, UT and afterwards there will be a light luncheon for friends and family in the chapel located at: 1305 N 100 E American Fork.
