A Homegoing Service for Mr. Curtis Leon Malone, “Curtis” of Tampa, Florida who passed away, Wednesday, October 23, 2019, will be held Saturday, November 2nd, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd., Rev. Wallace Bowers, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Curtis Leon Malone was born April 24, 1955 in Tampa, Florida. He attended the schools of Hillsborough County, graduating from A.P. Leto High School, and was in the marching band. He also attended Hillsborough Community College. Curtis was baptized at an early age and attended several churches for spiritual guidance. He enjoyed drawing, painting, reading, and enrolling in computer programming courses. He leaves to cherish his precious memories his dear mother, Cora Lee Malone; aunt, Lutricia M. Bellamy; uncle, Ralph Malone, Sr.; cousins, Mamie Aletha, Karen, and Shawn Williams, Ralph Malone, Jr. (Stephanie); Julius, Jr., Derrick, Sr. (Pam), and Nicolas Williams, Raquel and Bobby Bellamy, Jr., Tyrone, Dwayne (Kenyatta) and Raimon Malone, Barbara McQueen, Reginald Witherspoon, Taryn Reece (Clyde), Tamara Wilds, Derrick, Jr., Xavier and Desha Williams, Jordan, Brianna and Jada Bellamy; and a host of other family members and friends who will miss him. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, November 1st from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel for the service on Saturday.
