Willie Walker, Jr. “June” Funeral services are to be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic 174 Church Street, Grand Coteau, LA for Mr. Willie “June” Walker, Jr., 82, who entered eternal rest peacefully on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at his residence. Interment will take place in St. Charles Cemetery. Rev. Derrick Weingartner, S.J. will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial. Willie, “June”, leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his legacy, children Ralph Walker (Linda), Sunset, La, William Walker, Church Point, LA, Grabril Walker (Vanessa), Deridder, LA, Christopher Walker, Monroe, LA, Chris Walker, Sunset, LA, Theodosia Gray (George), Killeen, TX and Josephine Walker of Sunset, LA, (11) eleven grandchildren and (12) great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his children Aristile and Donald Walker, his parents Willie Walker, Sr. and Sarah Sion Walker, as well as, a host of siblings. The family requests visiting hours be observed on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 8:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
