Services for Kathleen Drawdy Cain, 90 of Thomasville will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Paul Blough will officiate and interment will follow in Meigs Sunset Cemetery. Mrs. Cain passed away September 27, 2019 at her residence. Born April 8, 1929 in Hinsonton, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Clements Drawdy and Zubie Allegood Drawdy. She was married to Wardean “Dean” H. Cain, who preceded her in death. She was a devoted & caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed sewing & cooking for family & friends. She attended Meigs Baptist Church and was a fine Christian lady and was baptized in her back yard at the age of 90. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy De Plato (Drew) of Thomasville; grandchildren, Jason De Plato (Brittany) and Jared De Plato (Ashley); great-grandchildren, Hunter De Plato, Brooke Lynn De Plato, Grayson De Plato and Logan De Plato (arriving in December). Brother, Wayne Drawdy; sisters, Estie Carroll and Lynelle Alligood and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son, Charles Cain; brother, Tommy Drawdy and sisters, Nettie Roberts and Elaine Robison. The family will greet friends at the funeral home at 2pm-3pm, before the service.
