On Sunday August 18th 2019 at 8:15 a.m., William Eddie Keaton, beloved son, husband, father, brother and friend passed away of Acute Leukemia (AML – APL) at the age of 62. Ed was born January 13, 1957 in Sandusky Ohio to William Russell Keaton and wife Addie Loretta (Howard). Raised in Fremont OH with his two brothers and sister; Jim, Gary and Sherrie. He moved to Texas to pursue a career in the construction industry in 1982. He met and married his wife Donna Lynn (Tarr) in November of 1986. Together they raised their only daughter, Abigail Holly Lynn Keaton. Ed worked in the construction industry for 37 years, the last 16 years at Brenco Industrial services where he was a project superintendent. Ed enjoyed the comradeship with the owner Steve Cardwell. Ed was a very hands on employee who always had an idea of how to fix, build or repair just about anything. He was a jokester who always made the day better and helped keep moral up. He made friends with the customers who all were subject to some of the same jokes that he delivered on a daily basis. His work family is deeply saddened by his passing. Ed lived life to its fullest. He never met a stranger and enjoyed making others laugh. Often having a joke or finding humor in a play on words. In the early years, he formed a band with classmates. He had an extended car racing adventure, racing sprint cars for 26 years. In the last couple of years, he enjoyed sightseeing the country by Harley with family and friends. Ed took the greatest pride is his daughter Holly, who he admired and loved with all his heart. Ed enjoyed life and the friends and family he shared his adventures with. Ed is preceded in death by his father William Russell and his mother Addie Loretta. He is survived by his wife Donna Lynn, his daughter Holly, his brothers Jim and Gary and sister Sherrie, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Celebration of Life to be held at Midlothian Funeral Home on September 22nd 2019 at 2:00 p.m. CST, 200 East Ave E, Midlothian TX 76065.
