Cecil Alberta Barnette, age 65, of Newport, passed Wednesday, September 11, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Barnette; and son Jamie Barnette. She is survived by her children, Jerry Lee Barnette, Newport, Johnny Barnette, Newport, Jackie Barnette, Parrottsville, Jason Barnette, Newport, James Wesley Barnette, White Pine Lora Ann Barnette, Newport; brothers, Robert Solomon, Knoxville; sisters, Deb Smith, White Pine; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; special friend Linda Harris; also other family and friends. Graveside services will be held 5:00 pm Thursday September 12, 2019 in Barnette Cemetery, Parrottsville. Family and friends may sign the guest register on line at: www.manesfuneralhome.com.
