William “Austin”‘s Obituary William “Austin” Atchley, age 22 of Calumet Township, passed away September 3, 2019. He is survived by mother, Amber (Jason) Lake; sister, Chloè Hemminger; brother, Ian Hemminger; maternal grandmother, Rhonda (Dennis) Bloch; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by Daryl Hemminger; grandfather, William Dennis Atchley. Anyone who knew Austin Atchley knows that he was a prankster who spent his life making those around him smile. He was a backyard treasure hunter, a casual fisherman, and an aspiring motorcyclist. Austin was a problem-solver; the kind of guy you called when you needed your computer fixed. He loved to play pool and had just begun to master Blackjack, telling his mother, “Got to learn the side bets.” Austin had the hands of a carpenter and an adventurous spirit that took him from Northwest Indiana to California and Georgia for work. And wherever he went, he was the life of the party. This is an obituary that was written far too soon and leaves so much left unsaid. You will be missed by family and friends. Austin, watch over us and continue with your pranks. I love you always and forever, son. Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service, 2700 Willowcreek Rd., Portage on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm.
