Glenn’s Obituary Glenn M. Henry, 79, of Platteville, Wisconsin, died on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa. Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Deacon Bill Bussan will officiate. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Glenn M. Henry Memorial Fund. Online condolences may be made at www.melbyfh.com. Glenn was born on April 18, 1940 in Platteville, WI, the son of Walter and Theresa (Klein) Henry. He graduated from Platteville High School in 1958. On May 1, 1960 he was united in marriage to Judy Reese. After high school, Glenn worked for Thermoline Corporation in Dubuque, John Deere, and lastly for Cuba City Machine, where he retired from in 2003. Glenn enjoyed riding his motorcycle, cutting wood, deer hunting, snowmobiling, fishing, and helping on his daughter’s farm. He also loved to attend classic cars shows. Together, Judy and Glenn enjoyed several winters in the south, traveling in their motor home. Glenn truly loved his family and enjoyed time spent with them. Glenn is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judy Henry; three daughters, Kim (Randy) Spease, Juanita (Jeff) Starr, and Kelly (Roger) Hauri; eight grandchildren, Mike (Lauri) Spease, Ashley (Lucas Yoose) Spease, Rachael (Eric) Peot, Ryan Reed, Dacotah, London, and Dallas Starr, and Brandy (Brian) Stetz; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Geneva Cullen; sister-in-law, Elaine Henry; his special “therapy” cat, Bandit; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Donald (Eleanor), Doug (Bernadette), and Clinton Henry; and sister-in-law, Marilyn (Bob) Dailey. Read More
