William Jesse Etheridge, age 78, passed away on August 13, 2019 in Lake Manassas Health and Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville, VA. He was born on September 5, 1940 in Wilson, North Carolina to the late Marvin David Etheridge, Sr. and Mae (Barnes) Etheridge. Mr. Etheridge was the owner of Elderly Things Antiques, he specialized in Civil War memorabilia. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing. Predeceased by his parents and brother: Marvin Davis Etheridge, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Barbe Etheridge. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM where a funeral service will be held at 4 PM with Rev. Dr. Billy G. Tatum officiating. Interment will be held at Frostville Cemetery in Wisconsin at a later date.
