T.B. Martin, 76, of Rose Hill, VA went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 12, 2019. T.B. was a native of Lee County and was born April 22, 1943. He was a hard worker who loved farming. After his health declined, he moved into Lee Health and Rehabilitation Center where he thoroughly enjoyed attending church services that he never wanted to miss. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruth (Taylor) Martin; maternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Taylor; paternal grandparents, Milton and Laura Martin; brothers, Teddy Ray Martin (infant) and Bobby Joe Martin; and a sister, Medie Jane Brooks. T.B. is survived by a brother, Bill Martin and wife Lila, of Ewing, VA; four sisters, Shirley Davis, of Rose Hill, Belinda Quillen and husband Harold, of Rose Hill, Serita Evans and husband Dale, of Lake City, TN, and Mary Martin, of Memphis, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 15, at Robinette Funeral Home in Rose Hill. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Revs. Tim Robinson and Josh Leonard officiating. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 16, in the Martin Cemetery. Everyone is asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m. Friday to travel in procession to the cemetery. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of T.B.
