Louis Marques Angeja was born in Oakland, CA, on November 21, 1939, and died peacefully on August 20, 2019, after a brief illness. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Barbara Angeja; his son Jeffrey Angeja (and his wife Laura); his son Brad Angeja (and his wife Alea); his grandchildren, Jarrod Angeja, Kaitlin Cruz, Andrew Angeja, and Sylvia Angeja; his sister, Aurora Dillon; and many nieces and nephews. He was a life-long member of the Luso-American Fraternal Federation and also worked as a life-insurance agent for them for over 10 years. He owned and operated a Shell service station in Mill Valley, CA, from 1974-1998, when he retired with his wife to Cameron Park. Lou and Barbara were fortunate to travel extensively in their retirement years and to be blessed with a loving family. Celebration of Life Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Church, 3111 Tierra De Dios, El Dorado Hills, CA, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, followed by a reception at Green Valley Mortuary, 3004 Alexandrite Dr., Rescue, CA (about 15 min from the church).
